Introducing the most advanced paramotor glider in the world – The WARP 2.
With advancements in design, Dudek Paragliders have come up with new innovations which will
push the boundaries of cross country flying to new levels.
Since the advent of the WARP 1, the company has listened carefully to pilots giving feedback on
what they would have changed on the original design. After all, the WARP 1 was the most
advanced glider that Dudek had ever built up to the point of its introduction and any
replacement design would have some pretty big shoes to fill.
This is how they have done it.
Speed. The wing is one of the fastest if not the fastest wing up to present year 2022. Pushing a
maximum speed of up to 55 miles an hour at 4000ft with the speed tests being done UNDER
the maximum weight range of each size. This speed does not only improve on the previous
model but achieves something thought not possible with present time design philosophy.
The wing has a very moderate launch speed but with a small increase in landing speed. The
trims closed speed is 33 miles an hour, the ‘Super Cruise’ Trim Speed is a cool 42 miles an hour
Stability. A pitch stability during rough air flight is very much improved while overall stability is
also dramatically improved on certain sizes. Oscillations can happen due to bumps in thermal
rise, but also won’t worsen and is easy to correct with the new nifty TST toggles that need the
lightest touch to give that required correction
PA. Power Attack still one of the most enjoyable features of the Warp category. Speed is
utilized on the trimmers but via stepping on the Speedbar. Think of it as opening and closing
the trimmers + the additional Speedbar WITHOUT using your hands on the trim buckles. Its fast,
its effective and its completely stable.
Controls. The Triple Comfort Toggles with swivel also integrates the TCT+ which is basically a
rugged grip connected to the tip steering line. First introduced on the Hadron 3 this expanded
to the Driftair and is a winner. It works great all but for when the Top Speed is activated on long
flights and reach up to the TCT + is a tad uncomfortable with your arms up high.
The TST toggles is connected separately from TCT + and connects low down at the hook in
points. A pilot can rest his hands on these while sitting back and enjoying the rough air flight
only making small corrections at below shoulder height. One of the best features to come with
this wing design hands down.
Efficiency. ‘Super Cruise’ is at 38kts. Only 1 kts faster than the Warp 1 but definitely more
efficient and requires less effort by the engine. ‘The Warp Drive’ at 47 kts or 55 miles an hour is
a different story and pilots will need more thrust at the higher altitudes to maintain flight
altitude. Next generation wings require next generation engines, something to ponder on when
deciding on your next motor option.
Winning Recipe. The glider smashed the Speedrun Cup speed record over a 188km course in
December of 2022. The previous record set by Warp 1 at 68km/hr was smashed with an
unbelievable 79km/hr average speed. We have only scraped the surface of what this glider is
able to do and we will be coming up with inventive ideas to see how we can push it to the max.
